Kids, Grandparents and Wacky Stories

“You’re never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child!” – Dr. Suess

When was the last time your parents read to your children? There’s nothing more special than sharing a good story, whether it’s funny, serious or a little bit of both.

Some of the best memories are created when kids and their grandparents enjoy a good book together. If your parents have good eyesight, they can read to kids of all ages. If not, older kids can read to them or you can get involved.

If you’re not sure what to read, pick up some of the stories recommended by Time Magazine’s 100 Best Children’s Books of All Times.

This post was written in honor of Read Across America Day, celebrated on March 2.
